Fort Benton – Saturday, December 3, 2011

 9:00 – 6:00        Open houses.  Participating merchants are offering in-store specials, drawings and refreshments.

9:00 – 5:30        Riverview Greenhouse Open House.  Refreshments.

9:00 – 7:00        Country Shoppe Cooperative.  1401 Front Street. Art Gallery – Unique handmade gifts by artists.

9:00 – 2:00        Santa’s North Pole Outlet Mall for Children.  All children (K- 6th grade) are invited to purchase new presents from .25˘ to $3 sponsored by Fort Benton Rebekahs #105 at NW Physicians Building, 1112 Front St (next  to River Press)

10:00 – 4:00      Rising Sun Vacation Home open house.

10:00 – 4:00      Bridgeport Station.  Arts and Craft show sale at Montana Ag Center, 1205 20th Street.     Lunch available. 

This is the biggest shopping stop with arts, crafts, baked goods, jewelry and unique gifts.

11:00 – 4:00      Grand Union Hotel.  Special holiday promotions in the Union Goods Gift Shop.  Enjoy a variety of talented musicians throughout the day.

11:30 – 3:30      Music and entertainment at Bridgeport Station, Wake-up Coffee House, Riverview Greenhouse, Grand Union

12:00 – 6:00      Grand Union Hotel Open House.  Holiday treasures.

1:00 – 4:00        Benton Pharmacy Open House.  Come and make an ornament.

1:00 – 4:00        Florence Dedman Animal Shelter Open House.  Refreshments.  Meet the staff and take a tour.

3:00 – 4:00        Grand Union Hotel.  Bring your camera and Christmas list.  Sit with Santa in his vintage sleigh.

4:30 – 7:00        Lark and Laurel Open House.  Refreshments.  See what is new in the vintage house.

5:00                  River Torch Luminaries Tribute from the bridge to Sunrise Bluffs sponsored by Chouteau Co Cancer Support Group.  To purchase a torch and dedicate to someone call 750-2918.

5:00                  Parade along Front Street.  “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.”  Line up at 4:00 at City Hall for judging.  Contact Shirley Embleton 781-2724 for entry form.  As the parade arrives at the Park, join us for the lighting of the Christmas Tree.

5:30 – 7:00        After the parade, enjoy hot chocolate and hot cider around a campfire at the Old Fort. Sponsored by Fort Benton Chamber of Commerce.

5:30 – 8:00        Santa will visit the Wake Up Coffee House.  Bring your camera.

5:30                  Community Bible Church Nativity Scene and Open House.  Please visit the Church at 1600 Main for refreshments at the end of the Parade.

 

Fort Benton - Sunday, December 4

 

11:00 – 1:00      Riverview Greenhouse Open House.  Refreshments.

12:00 – 4:00      Country Shoppe Cooperative Art Gallery Open House.

2:00 – 3:30        Christmas Concert with Peter and Molly Wilson, and Rudy and Gail Cicon at Fort Benton Elementary Auditorium.  Sponsored by CCPA.

 

 

Carter – Saturday, December 3

 

10:00 am – 6:00 pm       Cowboy Christmas Boutique.

10:00 am – 2:00 am       Rocking K will be serving lunch and dinner.

 

Carter – Sunday, December 4

 

10:00 am – 6:00 pm       Cowboy Christmas Boutique.

Geraldine – Country Christmas Social -  Friday December 2 

Sponsored by Geraldine Action Committee

 

4:00 pm – 7:00 pm        Area vendors and our ever popular Indian Tacos. 

7:30 pm – midnight        Rusty’s Bar and Grill will provide no host bar with band.  This year we will be showing the second round of Wrangler NFR and will have a live auction in the evening.

 

Virgelle – Saturday and Sunday – December 3 and 4

 

9:00 – 5:00        A Real Country Christmas at a Real Country Store.  See Virgelle all dressed up for the season.  Refreshments will be served beside the old cook stove in the kitchen.  A variety of antiques and collectibles will be featured at special prices, works by various artisans, baked goods and a silent auction of items throughout the town.

 

Driving Directions:  From Great Falls, Fort Benton, Loma:  take Hwy 87 through Loma for 12 miles and after passing mile post 66, turn right on next gravel road.  Follow gravel road to river bottom, when you pass through a concrete underpass go right 1/8 mile to Virgelle.

                        From Havre and Big Sandy:  Pass through Big Sandy 7 miles, turn left at the sign to Virgelle.  8 miles on gravel road.

 

Loma – Friday, December 2

 

8:00 pm – 1:00 am         Loma Memorial Hall.  Candy Cane Christmas Dance with Big Sandy band “Men in Black”.  An evening of dancing, games, food, prizes, drinks.  $10 adults, $5 students, 12 years old and younger Free.  Call 739-4231 for ticket or purchase at door.

 

Loma – Saturday, December 3

 

9:00 – 5:00        Trash and Treasure Shop – Step into the past as you shop among the many items for sale.  Hwy 87 and 4th Ave.

10:00 – 4:00      Village of Loma Country Christmas Bazaar at the Earth Science Museum featuring crafts and community bake sale.  Proceeds to go support Earth Museum.

 

Loma – Sunday, December 4

 

9:00 – 5:00        Trash and Treasure Shop – Step into the past as you shop among the many items for sale.  Hwy 87 and 4th Ave.

 

Big Sandy – Saturday, December 3

 

10:00 – 6:00                  Antique and Miscellaneous Open House.  New owners and new stuff.  Prizes, including $100 credit.  $1 grab bags and refreshments.

7:30 – 5:00                    Bear Paw Coffee and Deli.  Plan to treat yourself to a lunch break at the Deli.

8:00 – 10:00                  “Breakfast with Santa” at the Mint Bar and Café.  Have your picture taken with Santa.

9:00 -                            Shopping day begins with “Snow Flake Run”.  Get card filled and enter drawing for $25 in Big Sandy Bucks’.  Each stop is designated by a wrapped Christmas package.

9:00 – 2:00                    Senior Citizens Center offers a spaghetti lunch.  Baked goods and crafts.

9:00 – 4:00                    Crafters at the Jerry Martin Memorial Hall.  25+ vendors will be on hand with their art.

9:00 – 4:00                    Leona’s for homemade noodles, jams and jellies.  Also Farley’s Doilies.

 

10:00, 12:00, 2:00 and 4:00     North Star Dance Studio will be performing at the Odd Fellows Hall.

 

5:30                              Parade of Lights (line up at 5:00)

6:30                              Button drawing and auction of our decorated lamps at the Jerry Martin Memorial Hall.

 

Big Sandy – Sunday, December  4

 

10:00 – 6:00                  Antique and Miscellaneous Open House.  New owners and new stuff.  Prizes, including $100 credit.  $1 grab bags and refreshments.

 

La Mesa Restaurant  welcomes you to come in and dine from our full menu and daily specials.  Open 7:00 am – 8:00 pm daily. Sundays till 2:00.
